Today I have received Juminhyo – Japanese residence card. This certificate will ensure various government services like National Health Insurance. I was so happy to get it easily and smoothly from the government services without any hassle and delay. I was feeling relaxed after getting this in my hand . In Bangladesh, it happens oppositely. I generally, don’t want to go in Bangladesh government office and not interested to get the services, as it takes time, however, Bangladesh officer talk to much and mixed the personal and official relationship, however directly or indirectly ask ‘Gus’ ( split money ).
In Bangladesh, particularly in Dhaka, firstly I don’t want to give any Gus/ Bokshis/ split money, but when I understand – if I go 5 times for one work I need much transportation and time plus energy loss, it is better to give. I understand, by comparing government office and officers attitude, still Bangladeshi officer(s) could not overcome ‘Shamantobadi’/ ‘Pakistani Attitute’ to hold and or show power. Here in Japan officer(s) says “Sir! ( Okiakshama/ San/ dear customer )”, but in Bangladesh oppositely we – thle citizen must have to address officer as “SIR” with big voice; otherwise service may will not come easily without show ‘political power ‘ ( with reference to MP, Minister or Leaders ….). I wish soon Bangladeshi officer would understand their position from Master ( subjective ) to service provider ( objective). My quick feedback, in Bangladesh government system should start “REWARD and PUNISHMENT” system. Otherwise, the corruption will not stop, the professional service quality will not be provided.
Ondako Masuri, is a Japanese popular festival where the performer ware dress of Oni ( giant/ bad spirit ) and dance with Japanese dram sound. This is a special cultural event and believe in Sado Island. I am impressed to see the performance devotion and practices. On the eve of this festival every year organized a fair where traditional food has been sold. Before the festival the performer go each community. Each house donate and belief that by donating and the performance the bad spirit will out , particularly from the body of children. Sado people believe each year bad demon come and by the festival, the bad spirit from body as well as from area.
There are around 120 demon dram group in Sado. However in Japan generally traditional performance generally practices generation to generation beyond professional approach to community spirit and belief. Parents generally touch the children as they know. The festival is celebrating since last 500 years. Nowadays the festival is expanding from Sado/ Nigata to another prefecture as well.

One of our Japanese friends sent a Thai dress gift market with ‘I Love Baby’ words for our youngest soon Koon.e wears the dress and smiling. He may understand the joy of new dress wearing. We are also happy. As like as Bangladesh, Japan also has the similarity to give gift for emotional expressions and expressing love relationships.
