Banglarights. Net was the 2nd website in my multimedia professional life, which I designed on 2001. ‘Banglarights. Net’ is Bangladesh first human rights web portal. It was a joint project of DFID, The British Council, Pathshala and Drik. The site was made with HTML and Dreamweaver’s CSS. Of that, there was no killing power of Drug-Drop open source, like WordPress, Joomla, drupal etc, but had options to make a good website with heart and devotion. I am in nostalgia on my creative life at Drik.

My first website was dirkrfrans. org (2001 ) which is now in offline. ( I am looking the screenshot of the website. If I get I will publish.) Its layout also was impressive, with the face of a boatman and Bangladesh flag. The theme photo was from the book ‘Bangladesh Images and Impression’, written by Dirk R. Frans , a Dutch photographer, and hydrologist.

Dirk worked in Bangladesh as a hydrologist over 30 years, however, captured real Bangladesh is his photography. Dirk is a nice man. I like his views and motivations for public good. He donated the BIG income from his book and exhibition for the education of ‘Out of Focus’, a working class children group patronized by Shahidul Alam and Drik.
