‘Seijin no Hi’ means ‘Coming of Age Day’. It is the day of 20 years of declaration of Japanese youth to enter adult stage. Generally, this popular cultural stuff has been celebrated in school. In this, day children give thanks to parents and guardian. The parents and teachers also say, “We have taken care and educated you as our best. From now, you are free and matured. You will take care yourself. Hope you will enjoy freedom and will do your responsibilities properly as your best….”

Pre ‘Seijin no Hi’ ceremony was held today in my son – Coronet’s school. He is now 10 years old. This reminding event for ‘Seijin no Hi’. In the event children gave thanks to parents with letter, conversation and singing song for take caring good way. A video slideshow also screen with children’s life and happy growing moments. I am impressed to see it.

I heard about this event before, but this is the first experiences to see it. The open feedback, conversation, letter exchange however thanks giving with loud chorus song caught my attention. It is hard jobs for parents to growing up a child, but parents never complain. Parents become happy to see children’s smile
