Post production is dangerous for photojournalism as changed news and presentation; but good for art-photography. You know, the mode and style of photography have been changed in this decade by emerging digital technology. The traditional legendary photographers love to use darkroom, but not software much!
In the beginning, I could not understand adequately darkroom techniques. I was dependent to darkroom technician! Now I understand and have skills what they did.
The Photoshop, Light Room, Aperture, Nik etc software synonym of darkroom with features of a powerful photo-lab without using chemical ingredients! Most of manual-darkroom now have been shutdown! I must have to do my own post production work by myself. This works have pushed me to be changed! Now I love to use ‘post production’ in my computer. Its really nice and enjoyable to use digital technology in photography and videography, if we can handle.
