Whenever I know the news of blessing and purification ceremony of any religion, I eager to go there. The religious barrier and prejudices can not stop me. I get the touch of same God’s heart in everywhere.
I have already completed 5 major religions’ purification ceremonies.
When I visit the new country, I study their local culture and traditions first. I make effort to visit their temple.
Last Friday night, I went an ancient Shinto-animist shrine to join their local form of the purification ceremony. Children also joined. My daughter asked me
– Father why different people pray different way?
I said,
– it may link with different culture, view, history and however different understanding. Same reason as the different colored flowers have in one garden. You need to know and love all type of flowers.
