Earth Celebration

Earth celebration celebrated today on the bank of Lake Kamo (加茂湖). With children, I also joined in this indigenous celebration. Many children with cheers designed oyster-shells, bottles, two wood boats etc. In the closing children used the boats as the cradle. The Samurai Challenge

Classic car rally in Sado as part of 'The Samurai Challenge 2017 ' (12 April – 5 May) of in Japan. The challengers will enjoy the sea sight and green nature of Sado for 3 days. I have been assigned to report this national event with photographs and video. I will write

I joined Douoshi ( 胴押し) of this year. Douoshi is a tradition of purification which has been practicing in Tsukihuse of Sado since 1700. In the night of 3th January, each year local people gathered in the shrine. Generally the persons who are 25 and 42 years in age join in Shaking.

Tokuwa Matsuri

As like as other JapaneseTokuwa Matsuri (festival) has also spiritual and social aspects liked with Okura Jinja, Tokuwa, Sado.
