Edo era’s dress up and walking on gold roads

I has joined an excellent event on ‘experience the past and history. We wear dress of Edo Era and walked on the gold roads’, which were used to go capital Tokyo on three hundred years before. The  event was held in Aikawa on 01 March, 2015.  Sado is famous for gold mountain from Edo Era (1603 – 1868). In Aikawa the gold mine was discovered on 1601.

The journey was started from Aikawa city hall at 10:30 am and traveled to ‘Haneda town hall’, ‘Ancient Sado magistrates’ office’ through Kyomachi Street; and come back to again in Haneda. During walks participants continuously was singing song of Edo Era with lead of Ashigaru ( administrator) who was employed by the Samurai.
